Benjamin David Simmons (born on July 20, 1996) is an Australian professional basketball player who currently plays for the Brooklyn Nets in the National Basketball Association (NBA).

Simmons began representing basketball for the Newcastle Hunters’ under-12 representative team when he was seven years old, and he also represented rugby for Lake Macquarie and Newcastle for two more years while in Newcastle.
