Dwyane Wade’s Haircut
Throughout his time as a Miami Heat player and now as a Chicago Bull, Dwyane Wade has been changing up his hairstyle. The star guard’s fans have loved every one of his looks, ranging from braids to the now-famous “fire haircut.”
Dwyane Wade previously had a signature haircut, which was known for being a buzz cut in which the length of the hair is uniform all over the head.
The fire haircut
The basketball player’s newest look includes literal fire. Wade has altered his look before; this is not the first time. Wade has changed up his look. Earlier this season, he had a different style that included a beard and mustache combo.
He has completely deleted his platinum blonde hair from color, with the exception of the lifted Black fist on his back. Jared Esquerra, a 17-year-old stylist and hair colorist who created Wade’s previous hairstyle, was in charge of this most recent dye job.
The buzz cut
The buzz cut is one of many short hairstyles. The hair on the top of the head can be clipped to a uniform short length, producing a buzz cut, or into one of several geometric shapes that include the crew cut, flattop, and other short styles.
Many buzz cuts are designed to adhere to certain rules of symmetry and styling. The buzz cut originated in World War II with the practice of cutting soldiers’ hair to maintain hygiene while at the same time keeping their heads warm.
In modern times it is common for military personnel to have their head shaved completely bald with electric clippers, as well as all recruits in basic training units in the United States Army, Navy, Marine Corps, and coast guard. Buzz cuts are also commonly worn by athletes and coaches in many sports.
How to get the buzz cut?
In order to get the buzz cut, you need to prepare your hair clippers. Next, study your scalp.
You want the first pass of clippers to be at least one-eighth of an inch shorter than you would like your buzz cut to be. This will allow for gradual length adjustment as you go back through with shorter settings on the clippers.
The next step is using the clippers against the grain on either side of your head. This will help create a fade look, and it also allows you to even out any spots that are too long in areas where you have been told not to touch with clippers.
After this, repeat everything on a shorter setting for the sides of your head (one-fourth of an inch or shorter) and on the top of your head (no more than one-eighth of an inch). If desired, you may use a fade technique on the top if needed. Finally, check the back and sides of your head.
The buzz cut is an excellent haircut for the professional man. It is low maintenance, and it looks clean. If you want to get away from the traditional businessman look, try a buzz cut, and you’ll be sure to impress.
